Type of Review: Double-Blind Peer Review

Singularities adheres to the double-blind peer review system:

• Authors do not know the identity of the reviewers.
• Reviewers do not know the identity of the authors.

This process ensures impartiality, reduces bias, and facilitates an objective evaluation of each manuscript based solely on scholarly merit.

Review Stages

Each submitted manuscript goes through the following stages:

1. Preliminary Editorial Screening

• Checked for scope alignment, formatting, and plagiarism.
• Desk rejections are made at this stage if the manuscript does not meet basic requirements.

2. Assignment to Reviewers

• Qualified reviewers are selected for each manuscript.
• Reviewers evaluate content based on originality, clarity, relevance, methodology, and contribution to the field.

3. Peer Review Feedback

Reviewers submit detailed feedback and recommendations:

• Accept without revision
• Accept with minor/major revisions
• Reject

4. Author Revision

• Authors are given 2–4 weeks to revise the manuscript based on feedback.
• Revised versions are returned to reviewers or reassessed by the editorial team.

5. Final Decision

• Based on reviewer input and revised submissions, the editorial team issues a final acceptance or rejection.

Reviewer Selection Criteria

Reviewers are chosen based on:

• Academic qualifications (minimum of a doctoral degree or equivalent scholarly experience)
• Subject expertise in the manuscript’s area
• Prior reviewing experience (preferred, not mandatory)
• Ethical commitment to confidentiality, fairness, and timely response

Reviewers are drawn from Singularities’ editorial board, advisory network, and external scholar pools. Reviewer identities are kept confidential throughout the process.

Singularities maintains an efficient and transparent review process:
